Project Breakdown

Happy Lobster is a Chicago-based lobster catering brand known for bold personality, premium Maine lobster, and high-energy event experiences. I was brought in to design the homepage and implement CMS-driven sections to support dynamic content updates.

The homepage needed to capture the brand’s rebellious, Chicago-first tone while clearly presenting multiple service formats catering, private food truck, and live lobster bar experiences.

At the same time, the team required CMS-driven sections for locations, schedules, and menu items to allow ongoing updates without layout breaks.

Designed and implemented a bold, conversion-focused homepage that balances strong brand voice with clear hierarchy and calls to action.

Structured CMS collections for:

  • Location & schedule updates
  • Menu items
  • Dynamic content sections

The layout was built to remain flexible as the team expands events and service offerings.

The homepage now reflects the brand’s personality while improving clarity around service options and booking flows.

The CMS structure allows the team to update locations and menu details quickly, supporting ongoing growth and event scheduling without developer dependency.
